Asphalt 6 on iPad 2: Adrenaline Rush!
Just USD 4.99 for an adrenaline rush to remember? Sure! The only catch is you have to own a shiny new iPad 2 to feel the full effects of Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, a racing game developed by Gameloft. Wait a minute! Doesn't Asphalt 6 run on the original iPad? Yes, it does, but the game looks so much better on the iPad 2, thanks to some tweaks that have resulted in the latest version of Asphalt 6, Version 1.1.6 which tested okay on iOS 4.0. Among the changes in the game that takes full advantage of the iPad 2's stronger A5 processor and 512MB memory are real-time reflection on cars, a mini-map, improved controls and, of course, better texture filtering. Aside from working great on the iPad 2, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline also plays well on other Apple products, including the iPhone and the iPod Touch. You will need iOS 3.1.3 or better, though, so make sure your iPhone or iPod Touch owns up to the task.
